When Freedom Airlines flight 121 went down over the Pacific Ocean, no one ever expected to find survivors. Which is why the sixteen-year-old girl discovered floating among the wreckage—alive—is making headlines across the globe. Even more strange is that her body is miraculously unharmed and she has no memories of boarding the plane. She has no memories of her life before the crash. She has no memories period. No one knows how she survived. No one knows why she wasn’t on the passenger manifest. And no one can explain why her DNA and fingerprints can’t be found in a single database in the world. Crippled by a world she doesn’t know, plagued by abilities she doesn’t understand, and haunted by a looming threat she can’t remember, Seraphina struggles to piece together her forgotten past and discover who she really is. But with every clue only comes more questions. And she’s running out of time to answer them. Her only hope is a strangely alluring boy who claims to know her from before the crash. Who claims they were in love. But can she really trust him? And will he be able to protect her from the people who have been making her forget? From popular young adult author, Jessica Brody comes a mesmerizing and suspenseful new series, set in a world where science knows no boundaries, memories are manipulated, and true love can never be forgotten.
First thoughts: Before opening the book
I read the blurb for this book and knew I had to read it. Who doesn’t like a good YA book with a Sci-fi element? Plus the cover is pretty eye catching, and let’s be serious; covers attract us, whether we like to admit it or not. Also, another thing you should know was I was so scared to read Unremembered because everyone around me, including myself hyped this book up so much, and I didn’t want to be disappointed.

First Thoughts
Unremembered is about a girl named Sera (violet) who is found among the wreckage of a plane crash, and appears to be the only survivor. Everyone wants to get her back to her family, but no one can figure out where she comes from, and she isn’t much help because she has no memories. The world wants to figure out who violet (name she was given due to her purple eyes) and so does she!

Character
Sera is a complete mystery! She has purple eyes, she has no memory, and she is incredibility beautiful.  I love this character. She is just trying to figure out how to live in a world that she can’t remember, so she can’t understand it. Throughout the book her character grows more and more as she starts to put the puzzle together of her life.

Zen is the mystery boy! He is just has intriguing as Sera. He has secret of his own and he is a big part of the story.

A third major/ minor character is Cody. He is the son of the family she is staying with and I love him! It’s not that he is anything special, I just love him. I really can’t explain it. I just think he is the perfect, nerdy, 13-year old boy, and for that he gets my vote for favorite supporting character.

There is simply so much I could say but I can’t risk revealing something to you guys. Just know that Unremembered is a page-turner! It’s packed with so much information and reveals that you should never be bored.  I’m partially slow when it comes to figuring things out so everything was a big revelation to be, and kept me engrossed in this book well until the early morning.

Overall, I enjoyed Jessica Brody’s Unremembered!  It’s was packed with the perfect combination of Sci-fi, romance, mystery, great writing, great world building and great pacing. All the good things a book needs to grab my attention. Plus the ending will definitely leave you wanting more!!

Gosh I wish I could say you guys more but I can’t L Just go pick up a copy!!
