Q: Jumping Genres: Ever pick up a book from a genre you usually don't like and LOVE it? Tell us about it and why you picked it up in the first place.
A: I normally don't like Thrillers or murder mystery books(more of a romance person) But I loved The lovely Bones by Alice Sebold. If you haven't read it then you should definitely check it out.
I loved that book and the film even more! Great answer.ReplyDelete

My Friday Hops
It's been awhile since I read a mystery, I used to read John Grisham but haven't for a very long time.ReplyDelete
Hopping through. The Lovely Bones isn't a genre I would normally go for either but I want to read it.ReplyDelete
Great pick! I'm not a straight out mystery fan either but I really enjoyed this book too. It's really well written and a memorable read.ReplyDelete

Yes, a very good book. I still don't read the genre very often though.ReplyDelete
I don't read mystery as well. New follower! My FF: World of BooksReplyDelete
I read Lovely Bones a long time ago, I can remember walking around my sister's house with the book in front of my nose as I didn't want to put it down.ReplyDelete
A great book and movie.ReplyDelete
I don't really go for this genre that much but The Lovely Bones has got so much hype that I might try it one day! You should try the Virals series by Kathy Reichs if you're looking for another great thriller!ReplyDelete
New follower!! Follow back? Here's my post. :D
New follower here ^^ReplyDelete
I have the movie, but I still haven't seen it. It does sound good though :) If you would like to try some thrillers, perhaps Tess Gerritsen! Her books are not so scary, but they have a nice tension in them :)
Considering the emotions the movie put me through I don't think I could put myself through reading the book but it's good that you enjoyed it.ReplyDelete
My FF Post
