Booking Through Thursday #3

A weekly meme hosted by Booking Through Thursday

Easy right?

Q: What book(s) have you read that you’re secretly ashamed to admit?

A: Well around my friends and family I tell them every book that I read so I'm not ashamed. But when I'm walking around campus or on the bus I'm ashamed of all the books I read LOL. I'm always reading a really chessy romance(With a  half naked guy on the cover) when someone asks me what I'm reading and I just want to say to them don't Judge me, and let me enjoy my cliche romance book. haha

  2. Hahaha, for that reason I try to avoid half-naked men on the covers, even though they look really nice! I'm an old follower! :)

  6. I am the exact same way with my family and friends. With other people I just tend to censor myself based on the kind of personality they have. lol It saves me a lot of grief and them a lot of embarrassment. That aside, I love me some half naked men. Woohoo!!

  7. Hey! That was my BTT question! :-D

I don't think I could read books with half naked men on the covers in public. I had a hard enough time with this one: http://manchestermeanders.wordpress.com/2011/08/02/book-swap-guilt/

When I'm reading a book I'm embarassed about I don't tell anyone. I even hide them from my partner. lol.

I'm currently trying to read my height in books for the Day Zero Project but when it comes to publishing the book list that got me there I might need to read a few extra rather than reveal my shameful secrets...

  10. AHH! Story of my life!!! I really hate (but secretly love) when the cover is of a half naked guy or of a couple kissing or something like that because suddenly EVERYONE AND THEIR MOTHERS is interested in what I'm reading! Then, I have to explain to them that I'm a perv lol jk! I looked at the comment above me that said you should be ashamed of what you read which is totally true and I agree, but c'mon... it's kind of difficult when there's a cover of a couple practically sexing each other up when I'm in my health class... and we're talking about safe sex and whatnot!!! Lol kill me now -_-

  11. Loved everyone's comments.I laughed out loud reading some of them.I know I should be ashamed of what I'm reading but I really can't help it.

P.S good to know I'm not the only one reading books with half naked men on them, and I'm not the only one trying to hide the cover haha

Thank you all for stopping by my blog :D
I will be stopping by your blogs also, if I haven't already ;)
