Synopsis provided my Goodreads
Tough, brainy alchemist Sydney Sage and doe-eyed Moroi princess Jill Dragomir are in hiding at a human boarding school in the sunny, glamorous world of Palm Springs, California. The students--children of the wealthy and powerful--carry on with their lives in blissful ignorance, while Sydney, Jill, Eddie, and Adrian must do everything in their power to keep their secret safe. But with forbidden romances, unexpected spirit bonds, and the threat of Strigoi moving ever closer, hiding the truth is harder than anyone thought.

Populated with new faces as well as familiar ones, Richelle Mead's breathtaking Bloodlines series explores all the friendship, romance, battles, and betrayals that made the #1 New York Times bestselling Vampire Academy series so addictive. In this second book, the drama is hotter, the romances are steamier, and the stakes are even higher'

My thoughts
The golden Lily was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But of course we already knew that. Thank you Richelle Mead for writing this book!! That ending though, don’t really know how I feel about that.  I really don’t know how to write this review without spoilers. Sydrian kills be in this book. All I want to say is get it together, be together! I get my kiss and then it just ends. uggggghhhhh! Also I love, Jill, Eddie and Angeline.  Angeline was a character that I didn’t like at the beginning, but she has slowing grown on me.But I’m on team Jill &Eddie. I just love how all of these characters are developed. We see them grow throughout this book, and I now have a deeper understand of each character.

Overall, this was a great book! The Golden Lily packed enough romance and action to hold my attention, until next time. One thing I will say is that I hate waiting soooooooooo long until the next book in a series comes out. February is a long ways away! What am I to do until then?

I’m sorry that my review is short guys but I just finished reading it at almost 4:00am my time and I haven’t gasped everything that has happened yet LOL,  plus haven’t quite figured out how to word my review with a minimum amount of spoilers. Enjoy my GIFS that shows how I felt while reading this book. I find them HILARIOUS!!!!

  1. Your review sounds so good, it makes me want to actually read a book...you know...if I hadn't already filled my 3-book quota for the year :D

  2. OMG! I'm in the middle of reading The Golden Lily and I totally agree! About all of it, including your reactions! ...lol... I love Richelle Mead (she's one of my favourite authors!) but she needs to write faster! It's excruciating waiting for her books in a series! Love your blog, by the way! It's really cool!

  5. So jealous that you've already read this. It's "In transit" at the library and has been so since Friday. I've checked My Account on my library's website at least 20 times a day. It's killing me that it's not here yet. I'm hoping tomorrow. I'm almost tempted to just buy it, but that would be silly since it's just about to get here from the library. Although if I bought it, I could re-read it more easily.
I'm actually happy the next book is coming out in February. That's a whole lot better than waiting an entire year.
