Q: What hyped up book do you think was not worth all the talk?

A: Love me after this LOL! I love the Hunger games Series, I mean complete fangirling over this series.Catching fire is my favorite book but Mockingjay was a bit of a disappointment. I didn't like the ending or the flow of the entire last book. It wasn't bad I still love this series  but Mockingjay definitely could have been better or maybe we all hyped it up so much that once I got it in my hand I was not impressed!

  1. OMG! WE chose the same series.
I like the first book, the second was good but the third could be erase of the face of the earth.

  2. I loved the whole series but I can so see your point. Plus she should have picked Gale!! :P We'll see how many haters I get after that comment!!

  3. I picked this series as well. I never read it though, it just didn't appeal to me.

    Here's my Follow Friday

    Have a GREAT weekend!

  4. Oh YES! I sooooo want a re-write of Mockingjay, after what these characters endured, I wanted happiness; it definitely ended in a completely different way than what I expected - I wanted a Katniss/Gale HEA :(

    Anyway, have a wonderful weekend..

  5. I loved the Hunger Games Trilogy as a whole, to me Hunger Games was the best. I agree that Mockingjay was my least favorite in the whole trilogy, I mean it was so slow beginning and then it speeds up near the end and I felt like the events became really bunched up and flat out depressing. I did not at all like the ending, obviously but yeah. Still a good trilogy nevertheless.

  7. Old follower here... I love the Hunger Games series too, but I've never understood the hype... since before I ever read this series, I read a little book called Battle Royale :P

So I won't hate you for your choice. XD

  8. I totally understand what you mean. I freaked out for months before Mockingjay came out, but while reading it I just ended up feeling confused. Not for the whole thing. I enjoyed the beginning, but the whole ending? I had to go back and reread it because I didn't understand it the first time through. I still love the series though :)

  9. I haven't read any of the books in the series let alone Mockingjay :)
